Ganluo
Kui Hua Village Year of Establishment: 1959 Population: 88 in 24 households Ethnicity: Han People Affected By Leprosy: 21 (8 with visible disabilities) Geography: Ganluo County is located at the northernmost of Liangshan Prefecture. It is about 2300 meters above sea level and lies on gentle rolling land of 700 mu where water and power supply is unstable. The nearest market is 20km away. Economy: The earn their living mostly by selling sunflower seed and livestock, such as pigs Infrastructure: A road leading right to the village was built in 2008. Villagers no longer have to climb the 5km of cemented steps and another unpaved footpath in and out of their village. There is no medical facilities. Education: There is a primary school of 18 pupils and 2 teachers. |
